As a manufacturer can justify the withdrawal of one of its best selling models? The answer may lie in the rumors indicating that Chevrolet is considering to restyle the compact sedan Classic. The possible "New Classic" is already sold in Chile and China. See photos. The Chevrolet's compact sedan is the best-selling category in the country and justify an upgrade. If it does happen, the new Classic 2010 can receive the same modifications to the model sold in Chile and China have received. In Chile, the redesign is the latest model out there is called the Corsa Plus. The Chilean version is sold as well, complete with power steering, air conditioning, automatic transmission, ABS and air bags, and other equipment. In China, the model was called Sial and has the same look of the Chilean version. Even with the facelift, the model retains enough similarity to the Brazilian version, mainly keeping the same ports. In Brazil, this measure would be taken to combat the success of Renault Logan, and face the future arrival of the new Voyage. As the model was redesigned in other markets, it would be easier and cheaper to do the facelift on the Brazilian version. A point to be discussed would be the competition with the Prism, which today is located slightly above the Classic. We emphasize that this is only speculation and is based on rumors circulating in the automotive market. Perhaps the strategy of these rumors is to measure the acceptance of the facelift. And what do you think of the redesigned model? Do you think the national Classic should also receive the facelift? Leave your comment!
